  • GWAC 2008 Call for Candidates is now Closed: The GridWise Architecture Council Annual Call for Candidates has closed. This year the Architecture Council announced eight open seats and sought candidates to represent interests in a number of areas. Existing members had all indicated their interest to renew their candidacies for another 2-year term. We received a healthy response of 23 additional applicants with excellent experience. While existing members renewing their membership have the advantage of being familiar with the Council, the Nominations Committee's job is to develop a slate of candidates that best meets the desired attributes specified for a council with balanced representation. The targeted selection completion date is early February.
