Albert Esser

Vice President Technology, Eaton

In his previous position as Senior Vice President - Corporate Research at Hilti, Liechtenstein, he was responsible for finding new fields of business (breakthroughs) and creating business and development plans for new Business Units or Product lines based on new technology.

Mr. Esser holds 12 U.S. patents. He has been honored with many awards, among them the Emerson "Consider it Solved" Award, the GE 6 Sigma Certified Master Black Belt, GE's Whiteney Award, and GE's Dushman Award. He is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Wisconsin. His degrees include a Diplom Electrical Engineer (equivalent to MS) from the University of Aachen, Germany, and a Dr.-Ing. Electrical Engineering (equivalent to Ph.D.) from the University of Aachen.
